Turkey, together with Egypt, is one of the leading fruit and vegetable producers in the South and East Mediterranean. It offers a wide variety of products renowned for their visual appeal and taste. Génération Fruit specialises in the Turkey origin for citrus fruits, and particularly lemons. The varieties it imports – Interdonato and Meyer – are very early varieties; the lemons, which are visually appealing and bright yellow, are marketed in September. Génération Fruit also imports pomelos, Minneola tangelos and pomegranates from Turkey. Unloaded in Fos-sur-Mer after a week of transport, the products arrive from Turkey in perfect conditions.
